When you call us for a meeting, you will be visited by a principal member of our firm. We ask for your kind understanding that we do not make presentations to personnel who are not in decision-making positions. If you feel that we can be of help, we will require information that enables us to prepare an OUTLINE PROPOSAL, usually within 2-3 days. This initial proposal is an estimate and will contain a rough schedule and a lump-sum. At this stage, there are no obligations and we will be happy to discuss further details of our proposal until you are confident. If you wish to go ahead and accept our proposal, we will draw up a MISSION SCHEDULE which includes a time-line, divided in phases, with markers for communication with your company and for filing interim reports. After your final approval, this project document is to be signed by both parties and becomes the subject of our contract. Naturally, you may e-mail us or call us by a 24hours mobile number if you need any further information. Please note: 1. Buildings & Facilities There are always areas for making improvements. You don't want to create a fortress for obvious reasons; neither do you want to inspire a siege-mindset among your personnel and alarm your patrons. We can propose the right balance between workable security and pleasant [or even luxurious] comfort without too many compromises. In-depth knowledge about the dynamics of terrorist assaults and the resulting chaotic reactions enable us to suggest a few limited and vital amendments to the layout of your premises. These include cleverly designed but simple escape-routes for staff and patrons as well as "traps" for the bad guys. For fully operating facilities we draw-up plans for low-cost unobtrusive amendments to building designs, Our proposals would include easy access for assaulting security commandos, in order to reduce property damages to a minimum. 2. Personnel & Training Our idea is not to turn your personnel into a bunch of Marines. However, the typical locations of departments, the local knowledge and particular skills of different staff-groups can turn your human resources either into an asset - or a liability. In any case, staff do need specific SOPs [emergency manuals]. They also need additional training of what to expect, how to assist patrons, facilitate security personnel, survive hostage situations and, and, not least, how to get out of the way of an assault and to stay safe. Fire-drills and First-Aid seminars don't cut it anymore. 3. Intelligence & Sitreps Past examples clearly show that nothing is safe from terrorists or a large, determined mob. Even heavily protected embassies and well fortified military compounds are potential targets. Today's display of heavy and elaborate security at public facilities are mixed efforts of political motivation and text-book "rituals". Being in charge of a private organization, you are free to put measures in place which are effective, not just give the appearance. Terrorists study potential targets carefully. They actually "test" security installations and responses and grade facilities according to the effectiveness of their security measures. We have the ability to gather intelligence of potential plots and to produce profiles on the various subversive scenes which could threaten your security. This can assist you in focusing your resources. Most of all, you could fully prepare and won't be taken by surprise. 4. Liaison With Local Security Forces It pays to have good relations with the folks who could have to come to your rescue some day. It pays even more, if you have a detailed picture of what you can expect from a full-fledged assault or hostage rescue. Although all major counter-terrorist commandos follow a common manual [most units of Western-oriented developing nations received US or SAS - style training], the actual methods and competence in executing the assault or rescue differs widely. Frequently, political expediency results in collateral damage which can be mitigated. We can help you cooperate with the local special units and prepare an advanced script for a future rescue mission and perhaps arrange for a low-key "cold" exercise which familiarizes the authorities with your facilities and to synchronize procedures.
